Live music eh? You can’t beat it. No Karaoke or disco can better the atmosphere of a happy venue where the crowd is jiving to the sound of well played songs.

With a huge dollop of fun.

We formed Harkback because we were tired of going to see the same numbers played over and over again by technically competent but funless bands.

To make it into our set a song has to be fun to play and one the audience is pretty sure to know. If it’s one the audience won’t expect to hear then that’s a bonus. Of course there’ll still be couple of clichés in there but that’s because we know they work. But we won’t include too many :-)

We’re not a tribute act but we do strive to capture the essence of the song so the audience will recognise it. It also makes our set tremendously varied as the sound changes from number to number.

Far more important than our ego and self indulgence is making sure the audience has a good time.

After all, if they don't enjoy it we're not going to be booked back!
